Acceptable Use Policy

What you must not do with {{brand}}, mostly so your business does not get banned by WhatsApp or Meta.

Last updated: 17 September 2026 · Effective: 17 September 2026

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to you, your team and anyone using your workspace.

Most of it exists for a practical reason: the messaging platforms we build on enforce these rules themselves. Breaking them puts your WhatsApp number and your Meta business account at risk, and we cannot get them back for you.

Messaging people who did not ask to hear from you

You must not:

  • Send proactive messages, broadcasts or template messages to people who have not opted in to hear from your business.
  • Use purchased, rented, scraped or otherwise third-party contact lists.
  • Ignore or delay opt-out requests, or make opting out difficult.
  • Send messages that breach the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy or the WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
  • Use the Service to work around messaging limits, quality ratings or platform restrictions.

Prohibited goods and services

You must not use vedhasAI to sell or promote anything the platforms prohibit or the law restricts, including: alcohol, tobacco and nicotine products, drugs and drug paraphernalia, weapons, ammunition and explosives, gambling and real-money gaming where not licensed, adult content, unregulated financial and lending products, counterfeit goods, live animals, human body parts, and prescription or unapproved medical products.

Fraud, impersonation and misleading use of AI

You must not:

  • Use the Service for fraud, phishing, or to obtain money or data under false pretences.
  • Impersonate another business, brand or person, or imply an association you do not have.
  • Configure the AI to claim it is a specific, named human being when a customer asks whether they are talking to a person.
  • Hide facts a customer needs in order to decide — real price, real availability, real delivery time, who they are buying from.
  • Make claims your product cannot support, or that breach consumer-protection rules on misleading advertising.

Making the AI friendly and giving it a name is fine. Making it lie is not.

Harmful and illegal content

You must not send or store content that is illegal, infringes someone's intellectual property, harasses or threatens, promotes hate or violence against people based on who they are, sexualises minors, or breaches someone's privacy.

Sensitive personal data

Do not put government identity numbers, payment card details, health records, biometric data or other special-category data into lead fields, prompts, inventory or conversations unless you have a lawful basis and the security obligations that go with it. The Service is not designed to hold them.

Security and fair use

You must not:

  • Probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where the law expressly allows.
  • Scrape the Service, or access it with automated tools beyond the documented APIs.
  • Interfere with other customers, overload the infrastructure, or evade rate limits and usage quotas.
  • Resell or sublicense access without a written agreement with us.
  • Share one workspace across unrelated businesses to avoid paying for them.

Responsible security disclosure is welcome. Email security@vedhasai.com and give us reasonable time to fix an issue before disclosing it publicly.

How we enforce this

Depending on what happened and how serious it is, we may:

  1. Warn you and ask you to fix it by a date.
  2. Restrict or disable specific features, numbers or channels.
  3. Suspend the workspace.
  4. Terminate the agreement under the Terms of Service.
  5. Report the matter to the relevant platform or to the authorities where the law requires it.

For urgent security problems or platform-compliance breaches we may act first and tell you immediately afterwards.

Reporting misuse

If you believe a business using vedhasAI is breaching this policy, write to support@vedhasai.com with the business name, the number or account involved, and any evidence you can share.
